50+ Singers invites novice and experienced voices
50+ Singers is a non-auditioned community choir of adults aged 50+ who meet weekly for singing, learning, socializing, and fun. No need to read music, and experience not necessary. Sing a variety of popular, folk, oldies, and spiritual songs. Music director, Rigzin Tute, is professionally trained and experienced. He is 50+, he skillfully guides the choir with patience and humour. Studies show that group singing exercises the brain, helps the memory, and creates a sense of wellbeing. The choir is informal and is guaranteed to develop endorphins, camaraderie, and improvements in vocal abilities and comprehension.

“Not only have I improved my ability to harmonize, but we are also there to have fun,” affirms loyal 50+
singer Laura Tyson. “I feel blessed because my musical family has grown with these new singing friends
who have added much more than their voices to my life.”

Also starting this autumn is: 50+ Introduction to Sight Reading Level 1. This course is for those wishing to enhance their enjoyment of music by learning to sight read . It features musical and rhythmic drills.
