Diversity and inclusion are core values of the LIFE Institute. We are committed to a respectful and engaging social and learning environment that welcomes and values the different life experiences, backgrounds and contributions of all 50+ adults across Toronto.
Consistent with these values, LIFE strives to have membership and programming that better represents and reflects the ethno-racial and ethno-cultural diversity of Toronto’s population.

VALUE PROPOSITION
A more ethno-racially and ethno-culturally diverse membership that is representative of the broader community will open LIFE up to a wider range of backgrounds, life experiences, perspectives, talents and skills. It will allow for more cross-cultural content in the curriculum, increase the talent pool by having more diversity among course leaders, and enrich the learning and social engagement opportunities for all members.

A more inclusive LIFE Institute will benefit a wider cross section of the broader Toronto community by increasing their access to the experiences and benefits of LIFE’s activities.
